These are the features we want to add to FreedomBooks. The groups show our priorities, without promising dates.

Next

• AI bank transaction matching and categorizing. ChatGPT suggests which bill, invoice or category each bank line belongs to, with a one-line reason, and you approve each one.
• Expense tracking for jobs: receipts become billable expenses tagged to the customer job, then go onto that customer's invoice with "Add billable expenses". Job profit shows what the job billed against what it cost.
• Several computers on one company over the office network.
• Users and roles: owner, staff and a read-only accountant.
• Import from your old accounting software.

Later

• More AI providers (Claude, Gemini and Grok), and local models that keep everything in the office.
• Payment imports from Stripe, Square and PayPal.
• Shopify sales.
• Inventory and purchase orders.
